Hello evrerybody!
I'm looking for some help for one little problem.
I'm just modifying a pdf file, and I have noticed that there are some "Active areas" on my document. I don't know what it is, but my mouse cursor turns to a hand with pointing finger when I go over it (usually it is a hand).
If I insert a text field in this area, it is later impossible to select it again and to modify it, and it is very irritating!
Do someone have an idea to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot
Olivier

Re: Can not select and modify text fields
Hello Olivier,
Welcome to our forums!
First please make sure that you have the latest build of our Viewer (go to Help -> About). If you don't have build 2.5.210 - then please download and install it from here:
www.tracker-software.com/PDFXVwer.zip
If the problem still exists in the latest build please do zip/rar/7z a sample file and attach it to this forum topic for us to investigate further.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Can not select and modify text fields
Thanks a lot
I have the latest build.
I've attached you the file.
You can see on the page Nr. 32, I can not select the text "I65.3" and "FESTO PEV-1/4-B-OD" (I've created these texts, there are not integrated to the pdf document)
Look at the mouse cursor when you are over this area...
Thanks in advance

Re: Can not select and modify text fields
Hi olivier brodbeck,
Thanks for the sample. There is a link above your text, and the links are with higher priority than text boxes - and by default the Viewer will always switch to the "active hand" when you mouse over that area - and allow you to follow the link.
Attached is an image of one of the problematic areas. On it I've already moved the link so the text can now be selected and edited.
Best,
Stefan

Ok fine!
But how did you do to move the link to the right?

Re: Can not select and modify text fields
Hi Olivier
You need to select the Link tool first - and this will highlight all links in your document. You can now move any link you want. Or alternatively - you can change/delete the desired comment from the comments pane (Ctrl-M) and won't need to move the link first and then restore it on it's original position if needed.

Stefan
