adding signature to document produces error

while in a pdf, I click document, signing, place signature and select a spot for the signature - then the sign document dialogue appears - I click ok and then the save as box appears. when I click save, the following error appears:

Error saving document to "E:\station3\My Documents\doc.pdf":
Error [Operating system]: The system cannot find the file specified.

If I save the document without using the signing function, it saves OK.

We need to know :

* what OS you are using (XP/Vista/Win7/Win8?)
* what version of Windows (Home/Home Premuim/Professional/Ultimate etc)

OK now I see where they must be zipped. An error message would have been nice...

Sorry I should have mentioned that. Thanks for the file. I will need to pass this on to my development team and will post back here when I hear something. Given that they are in Europe it may be a day or two.

Hi again Susan,

my developer has informed me he needs to know if your digital signature uses the SHA2-256 key algorithm, or not.

Can you please click "View Certificate --> Details" and send us a screen shot of that?



Also - can you test signing using the Editor (use the same Digital Certificate please) https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/downloads
