Firefox (v22) "Print pages to PDF 0.1.9.2" add-on/extension problem.

Trying to print "Canon camera" specification web-page.

PDF-XChange Viewer only prints part of web-page... excludes the specification

Thanks for the post, however, it doesn't appear that the PDF file that you have uploaded was made with out software. What I'm seeing, is that it was made with wkhtmltopdf (see attached).

I've tried this with both PDF-XChange Standard and PDF-XChange Lite and they both print correctly on my end.

• I draw your attention to the two Mozilla URLs ...

1. PDF-XChange with Mozilla browsers (Firefox)
- I discovered my extension was "Print pages to PDF 0.1.9.0"
- posted a thread on Mozilla help. ... https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/963816
- resulted in a link to Version 0.1.9.2 ...https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/
- problem resolved, did not have to downgrade Firefox ... an easy outcome
- but ....
- strangely there is no link to the PDF-XChange author in Mozilla add-ons page, which is abnormal
. .. nor is Version 0.1.9.2 listed thru normal "channels" ... ie, Firefox -> Tools -> Addons -> Get Addons
- a downloadable addons file would be very helpful and would simplify using PDF-XChange in other Firefox "forks"

• Firefox -> Tools-> Addons -> Get Addons -> Tools for all addons (cog icon) -> Install Addons from File ...-> *.xpi, *.jar ... file

- the Version 0.1.9.2 extension results in PDF-XChange document

I installed Version 0.1.9.2 extension/addon from the Mozilla web page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/ into Firefox v22 (not Palemoon)

If "Version 0.1.9.2" that I have is not PDF-XChange official addon .... see UPDATE below
All Firefox addons emanate from :- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/

The only solution I can see is to clean-reinstall PDF-XChange Viewer, to hopefully "convince" Firefox v22 that it should recognise the PDF-XChange "addon".

1. Where are the profile files/folders located and are there any registry entries that should be deleted to ensure a clean re-install of PDF-XChange Viewer ?
2. Does my experience mean that every time FireFox is updated the PDF-X extension will be disabled and require PDF-XChange to be clean installed each time ?

Just discovered "Version 0.1.9.2" is by "fromDoctoPDF" at http://printpagestopdf.de.vu/index.php/en/help.html
- are they shadowing Trackers PDF-XChange program

4. Where do I find the Tracker addon/extension in Firefox ?
5. Is there an addon (downloadable) exe-file for PDF-XChange ?
6. What version should it be for Firefox v22?
7. Do Tracker have an email bulletin so I can be kept informed of updates ?

As a reminder, my problem is with printing a web page to PDF (the one failed Canon camera specs page)
Otherwise PDF-XChange works a treat.

Hi bawldiggle,

The only way to really ensure that you have our add-on, and not someone elses, is to install from the links the myself or my colleagues provide, or to install by downloading directly from our site. We cannot guarantee that you will be getting what you want/need if you download from thrid party sites (which I'm sure you knew ).

Understood - which, it turns out, doesn't appear to be an issue with us, so either disabling or uninstalling this other add-on (should you wish to do so), should avoid confusion. The best suggestion that I can make, at this point, would be to start by just disabling all other PDF add-ons and enabling ours (temporarily, and others that you wish to use can be reinstated later), then try follwoing the directions in the KB articles below, and see if they help:

Once you've done that, try saving the Webpage again, or printing it with one of our drivers (if you have either installed) by going to File --> Print --> PDF-XChange Printer 2012/Printer Lite 2012 and let me know if that helps. If the problem is still there, then could you send a copy of the PDF made with our software?
