Preface and page numbering in PDFs

A lot of ebooks for school text contain prefaces with numbering such as i, ii, etc , that Adobe reader and other pdf readers recognize, but pdf xchange viewer does not. Xchange counts those unique pages as numbers throwing off the correlations, so for example pg 200 in xchange viewer is actually page 175 in the book. Could you add that function? It is disorientating and makes the pdf harder to navigate.
