Hi,
1. Please make hovering over embedded hyperlinks show the URL, rather than having to click each link to see it. This was is the default behaviour in Viewer, and saves unnecessary mouse clicks.
2. Please include the URL text in Editor's find functionality. Currently, a URL string containing say, google.com, would not be found if the user searches for google.
Last and least, please include whether the installed software is the appropriate 32 or 64 bit version on the Help > About screen.
Thanks.

Re: Hyperlinks in pdfs - Feature requests
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the suggestions. I am pretty sure that the overing over a link and showing it as a tooltip is planned already but I will confirm with the guys in the dev team, and will see what we can do for allowing search to also look at links.
As for whether our Editor is 32 or 64 bit - it will always be the same as your OS. If you have a 64 bit windows - then the Editor is also 64 bit, and otherwise it is 32 bit.
Regards,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan.
Including the 32/64 bit information in the help dialogue would assist those users who may not know what their OS is (or how to find out), and so avoid them downloading the wrong update version of Editor.

Hi Bob,
Yes agreed it could be helpful, however we always recommend the use of the .exe installers unless it's a system administrator deploying to several machines at once. The .exe installer will auto detect the OS version, and deploy the necessary files.
I will check this with the devs, but can't promise we will include such info in the about screen.

Fair enough - I didn't realise that the exe was the preferred installation method.

Hi Bob,
Yes it is - as it saves you from downloading the wrong .msi package and figuring out you needed the other one
The files actually installed are absolutely the same irrespective of which package you use.
Cheers,
Stefan
