XChange viewer Pro: Spell Checker for annotations?

Post by wernerfosch »

Hello,

I'm looking for a spell checker that works in the annotations I add to the text. Is there such a possibility in XChange viewer Pro? English would be sufficient.

Hello wernerfosch,

Please download and try our new PDF-X Editor:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor
Text typed into e.g. it's sticky note tool is spell checked as you type.

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Thank you very much for your so quick answer. Shortly after posting my question I detected the editor, installed it - what an excellent program. Indeed, it provides what I was looking for.

Interestingly I saw that, within the installation folders of the editor, the dictionary folder contained a series of languages. Are they usable for spell checking, too? If so, how can I make them available, e.g. among the "Preferences"? For instance, the original PDF text is in English, some contributions, however, would be preferred to be added in Italian or French.

Hi wernerfosch,

Open the Editor and go to Edit -> Preferences -> Plug-ins
Select the spell checker and hit the "Setup" button which will allow you to change the dictionary used.

Regards,
Stefan
