Always open PDF files in Fullscreen

Is there a way to configure PDF Xchange to always open pdf files in Fullscreen?
If there is not, could you make this in to a feature request?

Hi ruudboek,

it's not a configurable setting at present. I have added it to the wish list and it will be considered down the road, most likely after the V3 release in September. I can't promise if it wil ever be adopted however as the F12 key toggles full screen and this may be considered adequate for the majority of users.

Thanks Paul, i would very much appreciate it and i am looking forward to it.
Foxit does have that option though, however, adobe acrobat reader does not.
Acrobat reader will only change to fullscreen when you open a pdf file, if that pdf file has been explicitly saved as a full screen pdf, which does not make it a consistent fullscreen viewer for pdf files.

So the fullscreen by default option would definitely be of added value, if you compare features to adobe acrobat reader or other pdf viewers.

You are asking for the "Viewer" or the "Editor"? The Editor has now it's own forum - maybe better to ask there?

Hi guys,

The Editor should have the ability to display documents in Fullscreen mode for either build 308 or build 309. I don't have confirmation on which yet though, I'm afraid.

As for the ability to select fullscreen mode as a default, I'm afraid that this is a rather low priority feature request and, for now, it's still likely a long term thing, as we have many more pressing features and fixes that need to be implemented before we can begin to evaluate the lower priority feature requests.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in these.

Also, as Peter said, we do request that users please direct all posts on the Editor to the Editor section of the forums in the future.
