Each time I mark something on pdf (for ex. highlighted area) and I mouse over it it shows my name. It shows my name when I also send pdf to other users. I don't want that. How to change it. I went to Preferences and changed registration info but it didn't help. My name also shows on Identity bar but I am not able to changed it. Please help.

I looks indeed like you cannot change the Login Name in Edit > Preferences > Identity.
Probably because it is your real Windows logon id that is shown here.

A work-around is to put something in the (Identity)-Name field (a space or a dash symbol or whatever).

Maybe a better solution from Tracker support ?

The the Windows Login Name is the name that is displayed here, unless something is entered into the Name field. It could be anything you want (even a space, should you wish).

Problem is that filed Login name (Preferences >> Identity>> Login Name) is not editable and I can't change it. !!!!

Hi chaos,

This is by design and you will find exactly the same behaviour in Adobe Reader. This is because the login name is taken straight from Windows itself and the Windows Login Name can only be changed by changing the from within Administrative Tools --> Computer Management --> Local Users and Groups, then right click the user that you wish to change and select Properties, then enter the desired username into the "Full Name" field.

This is the only way to change what is displayed in the Prefences, as even changing the Username in the Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts section of the Control Panel does not actually change the Windows Login Name.
