it's not that we don't want to give a date, it's because we can't do more than the estimates already provided. We simply do not want to offer a date for release and find we cannot meet the deadline.

We are still hoping for a release in the next few months, I hope you can hold on just a little longer.

Maybe publishing change logs could be helpful in a matter like this? I did hear that it was to be done with the last releases, but I cannot find any.

The latest release of the Editor is build 307.2 and the changelog for this was published either on the same day or the following morning (I'm not 100% sure as I'm actually on holiday at the moment). You should be able to find the log here:

I'm afraid that our hands are really tied here, as there are many more higher priority items that need to be completed first. The Dev. Team are working as hard as they can to get this out, but for now, I'm afraid that we'll have to ask you to be patient just a little while longer.

Doc's and examples are in progress now - but as there are many many 1000's of functions (yes thousands...) it is no simple task - even to offer an early pre-release that Developers can start look at with basic documentation and some examples is not likely to be available before sometime in July/August I am afraid.

The Editor SDK is in fact all but complete - what is not complete is the documentation and the sample applications and currently we do not have staff available that we can take from End user development or SDK work to start this. Its holiday season and we are also under extreme pressure to complete work on end user functionality.

Its a simple fact that 80% of the work of any of our products is the SDK functionality but it represents less than 20% of the revenue we generate and those cold hard economics cannot be ignored.

what you are actually saying is that you don't know if and when you'll have a new version ....

I'm in big trouble because of that .
1. I'm willing to try working with the undocumented version, can I get that version ?
2. maybe it would be easier to fix the bug in the old version.
I'm sure it's a matter of couple of hours, you are reversing the letters in RTL languages .

I'm afraid that we don't currently have any information available on the release. As John said, there still a lot of documentation that needs to be completed and we simply do not have the resources to divert at this time.
