Listed search providers won't uninstall

Manage Search Providers

When I click on any of the named search providers and select "Remove", it asks me if I'm sure and then does nothing.

On a laptop with the same installation it works as expected. What might be different with the desktop? How can I get the deletion to proceed?

Please try right clicking the Viewer Icon first and select to "Run as administrator" then try again.
