Using digital signature on behalf of another person

I work for a large company which has its own certifying authority. When I go to apply a digital signature, my certificate is already there ready in the System Store.

My question is, if I were an assistant and I wanted to sign a document on behalf of my manager, how could I do that? Should my manager save their signature to file in a location where I can access it perhaps?

Hello Katie,

Yes if your manager creates a new digital signature and saves it as a PKCS#12 DIgital ID File he can then send that to you, and you can use it on your machine to place a digital signature with the certificate from that file.
You can create such files with our Editor via the Document -> Signing -> Sign Document -> Create Certificate...

You can then use the created file via Document -> Signing -> Sign Document -> and click the "Use Certificate from file".
