We use Group Policy to deploy this software and are currently at version 2.5.214.2. The .msi is deployed with the .mst attached in modifications tab of the package so we do not have to create a new .mst every time there is an update.
Since we have a new license key, I created a new .mst to deploy, but it does not work. It deploys the new version, but it will not update the key.
In the .mst I used the following fields: KEYDATA, KEYFILE, ORGANIZATION, USERNAME, USERMAIL
In the KEYDATA field I used the new product key and in the KEYFILE field I used the path to the .xcvault file
Do I need to use the NEWERVERSIONDETECTED and OLDVERSIONBEINGUPGRADED fields as well? Or are they optional? What else may be the problem if that is not it?
When I test the deployment using msiexec rather than the AD deployment I get MsiInstaller Event IDs 11729 and 1035 with failure status 1638 for the configuration. And it does not install at all.
The command I used was: msiexec /i \\pathto\PXCViewer_x64.msi /t \\pathto\PXCViewerx64.mst /passive

You need just one OR the other of the KEYDATA and KEYFILE - but not both at the same time.
