TextHighLightTool not permanently?

TextHighlightTool is not longer permanently usable, i. e. after every highlighting a word and another word again I have to click the icon in the toolbar again to do so, some time ago I could highlight text without clicking that icon again and again.
Is that a matter of configuration..how? Or is it simply not longer available?

Please make sure that you have the "Keep tool selected" option turned on:

Just went there, unfortunately is "Keep Tool Selected" not displayed.
Is there a way to enable that?

Hi Jazoc,

This will appear on the properties toolbar when the tool you need is selected. To open the properties toolbar press Ctrl-E
