Saved Documents Disappearing

Just installed on new PC. Several documents have been saved successfully, but today I encountered 2 pdf documents which did not show up after saving to desktop. In both cases, if I attempt to save a second time I receive the message that the document already exists, do I want to overwrite. In addition, when I open the program, neither of these documents appear in the 'recents' list. I've tried saving in a number of locations, but the documents never show up. Thanks.

Could you please specify from where you were saving. E.g. Internet Explorer?

Document downloaded from IE. Opened and edited in pdf exchange editor and then saved to desktop folder. Two of the documents I saved showed up without a problem and two of them did not show up no matter how many times I attempted to save them.

Thank you for the post-

This is a known issue with IE. The only way to solve it is to go to Tools-->Internet options--> Security[tab] and be sure that protected mode is turned off.

Very Interesting...........thank you. I have successfully saved the documents, but needless to say, I do not wish to leave IE with protected mode turned off. Will this same thing happen with Google Chrome?

Thank you for the email-

Protected mode in IE sets up a virtual directory. It essentially virtualizes all folders on your PC, and saves documents to those. With Google chrome, you should not have that issue.

I have successfully saved all documents, using Google Chrome (which forced me to download Adobe before I could download the PDF). I have now switched back to PDF Exchange and all is well. Thank you very much for your help. I continue to be amazed by the quality and speed of Tracker support.
