Start the apllication with linedrawing per default.

Hi to all,

thanks for this brilliant tool but I´ve got on question:
I´ve to work with big Tiff files including up to 800 pages. I´ve to control and hilighten some things in each tiff file. It would be a big help for me if it would be possible to start the application in linedrawing mode per Default. It would be great if there is a paramenter oder a Setting to start each file automaticly in line drawing mode.

Please tell me if it is possible and when yes: how?

Or is there any other method for me? Highliten itselfs will only function with pdfs and not for tiffs. The only thing i found was the lindrawing mode .. thicken the line and fill it with yellow per 69% .. great .. but i have to activate each time I start the application. I would like it to have per Default.

Hi Martin,

I'm afraid that currently one cannot set one of the Drawing Tools as the default at application start. Allowing a user to choose a default tool at start time is something that we have been considering for some time, though I believe soon we make allow a choice of Select Tool or Hand Tool - choosing other tools as default may not work out.

Highlighting using the highlight tool requires being able to select text and I expect your TIFF files to be just raster images without selectable text. Have you tried to OCR the document?

Also - if you use a Blend mode of "Multiply" on drawing obkjects they will apply themselves as highlights do and that makes highlighting image based PDFs much easier: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... nly-images - while for the Viewer it is the same concept in the Editor.
