In my daily use, I jump from bookmark to bookmark constantly. However, this resets me to a zoom level of 58% (the fit page setting), when what I really need is about 100% (the actual size setting). How do I set the default zoom level so this stops happening?
Welcome to our forum, and thank you for the kind words!
Bookmark can be set to so they always revert to the same zoom level. You can change the properties of bookmarks by selecting the bookmark, then clicking properties-->Actions--> Edit. See screenshots attached.
I hope this helps!

This setting works, but unfortunately it only applies to a single bookmark. I selected all of the bookmarks in the file, but this caused the actions setting to be removed -- appearance alone remained. Is there a way to change the behavior of bookmarks by default?
Open the Editor and go to Edit -> Preferences -> Page Display, and there will be a checkbox to "Forbid the change of the current Zoom factor during execution of "Go to Destination" actions(these actions can be launched from bookmarks, hyperlinks, java scripts)"
