Hi,
Trying to update either silently or with full GUI to the latest 2.5.311 is failing with an error:
Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel (1638).
Is it a bug in the latest update or is now expected behaviour please? Is the uninstall of the previous versions required before installing the v2.5.311?
Thanks,
Eugenia

Hello Eugenia,
Are you using the .exe or .msi installation packages, and do you know from which of the two the previous version was installed?
Regards,
Stefan

Hi Eugenia,
Glad to hear the .exe worked correctly, and I believe the original issue is due to the way the Viewer .msi packages are built. Indeed you will need to uninstall the old build before installing the new one from the .msi packs.
