I'm not sure this is the right forum, but we have a license to distribute your Lite Print Driver 2012. This issue deals with version 5.5 build 310.
The issue is one of scaling in Excel when your Print Driver is set to the printer AND then change the "No Scaling" option to "Fit on One Page".
Here how to replicate the issue.
- Open the attached file in Excel (I'm using Excel 2010)
- The go to FIle>>Print
- In the Print Window, change the Printer to the Lite Driver 2012 (or whatever you call it). You should still see the correct preview of the page to be printed
- Then change the "No Scaling" option to "Fit Sheet on One Page". Now the preview shrinks to one little rectangle and the pages go from 1 to 172. Very strange.
NOTE: I also have the SDK driver on my machine and when I select it as the Printer, the problem does NOT exist. So it looks like an issue with the Lite Driver.
I hope this helps.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the post - I'm not seeing this problem here with Excel 2013. Could tell me what Version of MS Office you're running?
Cheers,

Excel 2010.
Also note that the workbook I sent over is in Excel 97/2000 format. Not sure if that has anything to do with it our not.

Re: Scaling Issue with Lite Print Driver in Excel
Same issue here with Excel 2013.
Issue can be reproduced by creating a new workbook, adding some values distributed over several rows and columns and then changing to "fit on one page".
If I then selectively remove values from the sheet the print preview shows a weird number on every preview: 854, 712, 594, 904...
Bug was clearly introduced with build 310.

WTF? Why do I have to print the contents into a PDF in order to attach a screenshot?!?

Re: Scaling Issue with Lite Print Driver in Excel
Hi Jeff,
I missed that in your original post - my apologies. I'll have to setup a test here using Excel 2010.
It's possible that the old format is responsible, but I won't know for sure until we've tested here. I'll do this as soon as I'm able and will let you know. I won't be able to get to this for a couple of days, as I have other tests that require my attention first. Hopefully that's acceptable,
Cheers,

Re: Scaling Issue with Lite Print Driver in Excel
Any updates on that or an ETA on which a fix is available?
We're unable to download (the working) build 309 and we're heavily relying on Excel printing...

Hello wpa1160,
We have a ticket for this problem in our system:
#2809: Lite Driver prints strange page breaks from Excel, Nitro prints fine
But unfortunately it is still not resolved.
In the mean time you can download Lite 309 from here:
http://www.docu-track.co.uk/builds/5.5. ... 5SA_LE.zip
Please note that this is a limited bandwidth domain so do not overuse the above link!
Regards,
Stefan
