Shortcuts with Ctrl (Strg in German) won't work SOLVED

I defined a bunch of shortcuts that contain Ctrl (on my german keyboard it is called Strg). Sometimes everything works fine. But sometimes a preview of all opened documents is shown every time I press Ctrl. A mean side effect of that is that all shortcuts that contain Ctrl do not work anymore.

I tried to figure out how to permenantely disable that preview function, unfortunately without success. It is possible to assign a shortcut for a preview of all open documents, but this preview is slightly different from the one that causes the problem.

Thanks for the post - I believe that the preview you are referring to, is one that shows a list of open documents when Ctrl (Strg) is held down and this is done, because Ctrl + Tab will cycle through the opened documents. This pop-up appears and should then allow you to navigate through the opened documents with the arrow keys on your keyboard.

Could you please upload a screen-shot of this (if possible), making sure to ZIP/RAR the image? I'd like to confirm/deny the suspicion.

Yes, it looks exactly like that preview you mentioned.

right now, the problem disappeared (as I mentioned before, sometimes everything works fine), but I could get exactly the same result with Ctrl + Tab, but I had to press Tab twice. For switching to the previous or next document I had changed the shortcut to E and R, respectively.

Thanks for that - it is what I thought. I suspect that you may be using an older build of the Viewer, as I can't reproduce the issue: I need to have tab held down for a second or two, in order for this preview to appear. Please try updating via the following link and let me know if that solves your issue:

I updated the viewer to the newest version. Right now it works fine. As soon as I may experience the problem again, I will post it here.
