pdfSaver for PDF-XChange Printer 2012 has stopped working

When printing Forms from SAP ECC (like PO, Sales Contract, Invoice) to PDF printer, the error message "pdfSaver for PDF-XChange Printer 2012 has stopped working" is shown and nothing is printed.

Lists in SAP can be printed to PDF without problems.

With previous versions of PDF-XChange and the SAP Gui it worked, but for new hardware we are using now these versions of software, which results in the above mentioned problem

* PDF-XChange Printer 2012, version: 5.5 build 311
* Windows 8 Enterprise x64 (Build 9200)
* SAP GUI for Windows, release 740, file version 7400.1.1.3306, build 1543247, patch level 1

Does somebody have a solution for this?

We tried the new build in combination with the current SAP Gui version but still the same problem. We also will try to update the SAP GUI to a higher patchlevel, I will keep you informed. If you have another solution in the meantime feel free to inform me.

We did update also the SAP GUI 7.40 to the latest patch 2, (hotfix 2) but also this didn't work, still the same error.
Any suggestions?

I read that you have new versions from PDF-XChange Printer 2012 as well as from SAP ECC.

I wonder if you still have the possibility to install and test with the old version of PDF-XChange Printer 2012 with which the PDF-conversion worked correctly. This can give you an indication for the fact that you should search for the problem in PDF-XChange OR in SAP ECC.

We installed the previous version we used before:
PDF-XChange Printer 2012, version: 5.0 build 269 and with this version in combination with Windows 8 Enterprise x64 (Build 9200) and SAP GUI for Windows (release 740, file version 7400.1.1.3306, build 1543247, patch level 1), printing works fine. So we can conclude the problem is caused by the new PDF-XChange Printer 2012, version 5.5.

We want to use the newer version for PDF-XChange Printer 2012 what can you do to solve the problem?
