Plug-in crashing in Firefox 41.0.1 and later?

I am runnng Windows 7 32-bit Home Premium and Windows 7 64-bit Professional on two different computers, each using PDF-Xchange Viewer V 2.5 Build 315.0 as my PDF viewer and Firefox as my browser.

No problems using Firefox with PDF-Xchange Viewer plug-in (V 2.5.315.0) on either computer up to and including Firefox V 41.0 but using either of latest Firefox versions V 41.0.1 and V 41.0.2 eventually results in a crash when trying to display any size of PDF file in a browser tab (see attachments).

Any suggestions?

It seems like an issue that FireFox introduced if our plug-in worked with the older builds of FF, but please let me mention that we are no longer developing the Viewer - so it will get no fixes or new features in the future.
I would recommend you to download and try the Viewer's successor - the PDF XChange Editor:

And let us know if it's plug-in works correctly with the latest FFox builds?

Thanks for your quick response.

Following your suggestion, I uninstalled PDF-XChange Viewer from both computers (which automatically removed its Firefox plug-in) and then installed latest version of PDF-XChange Editor (V 5.5.315.0) including its optional plug-ins for both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Problem solved - now no issues opening any size of PDF file within a Firefox (V 41.0.2) browser tab.
