Editor and Viewer can be installed side by side in 2 PCs?

Hello, i know that:
"a license that works in the Editor, will also work in the Viewer, and both can be installed side by side",
and that:
"You can use the same single user license on two machines at the same time provided you are the only user of both",
but i would know if Editor and Viewer can be installed side by side in 2 PCs (i am the only user of both) with the same license.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, you can install both the Editor and Viewer on the same computer and they will work side by side without any problems.
You can also install both products on your two computers using your single user license.

Just out of curiosity - why would you want both applications installed? Is there anything that is available in the Viewer and not available in the Editor?
Please note that the Viewer is discontinued and very few if any new features will be added in time.

Well, it's mostly a matter of getting used to the different interface of the Viewer ... almost a question of "feeling"... then maybe the Viewer seemed faster (at least on my old PC).

Thanks for the follow up. Yes - it's nice to have a transition period, but I believe you will get used to the Editor pretty fast!

An other reason to still have the Viewer besides the Editor is, to be able to open two different windows with the same PDF.
In the Editor that is (actually) not possible. The incorporation of this feature has recently been asked via an other topic in the Tracker forums.

The Viewer is our old PDF creating/editing solution. This product is discontinued and replaced by the Editor.
