Text field not keeping text in-line

My coworker and I have been filling out a document both using Viewer. I finished the document and saved it and every time I have tried to open it since, I have had trouble with the text. Some fields will have all text in line like I left it but most others have become jumbled. It's as if too much spacing has been put between individual characters (see example) but when I click on the text field to rewrite it or change it, the text snaps back in place and will become jumbled again one I hit esc or select another field. If I rewrite fields individually, the text will stay put, but once the pdf has been closed and reopened, the text is just as jumbled as the last time I opened it. My coworker can open and edit the document just fine without the text reworking itself so I do not think it is a problem with the document...

Any thoughts?

Hello Woods,

Can you please check which build of the Viewer you have (go to Help -> About) and see if you have the current latest (315)
Even if it is the latest build - I am afraid that the Viewer is no longer developed, so I would recommend you to download and install it's successor - the PDF XChange Editor:

As it should handle your files much better and not break them in the way the Viewer did.

I was running 212 but I just downloaded Editor and my documents are opening properly now.
