Hi - I have an older version of PDF-XChange Viewer on an old laptop and it can open old PDF documents which have expired due time.
I've downloaded a new version of PDF-XChange Viewer Pro and it no longer opens expired PDF docs.
Any ideas??

Re: Viewing Expired PDF Documents
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the post - can you please send a sample document for us to take a look at here? I suspect that this document was secured with a 3rd party security handler that, previously, was not supported by correctly by the Viewer and so could be opened after the expiry date.
Thanks,

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the sample file.
The security applied to this document relies on some JavaScript, that apparently the old build didn't handle properly. The newer builds are now correctly applying the security settings, and that is why you see the green text. I am afraid that we can not tell you how to circumvent that security.
Regards,
Stefan

Hi Andrew,
We cannot advocate the use of old software to exploit a bug that circumvented the author's security and, therefore, cannot provide any further advice on the subject.
Thanks for understanding.
