Hello,
I want to visualize side by side parts from the same pdf. Everything is great if Preferences>General>Allow Multiple Instances is activated.
However, each time I open a new document from explorer a new instance is launched (third, fourth, .... ).
I would like to have the new document opened only in the two instances already launched.
So, is there a way to limit "Multiple Instances" to only 2?
Best wishes

Re: Limit "Multiple Instances" to only 2
Hello alpaco,
Thank you for the post.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to limit the instances of the Viewer to two.
Please try using the Viewer's successor - the PDF-XChange Editor. You can split the Editor in two from the main menu -> Window -> Split to see two different parts of the same PDF file at the same time.
You can also use the feature Window -> Active Document to New Horizontal/Vertical Tab group so you can see two different files at the same time.
