I would like to ask a question on the “stopped working” message of a PDF-Xchange viewer in
Windows Vista.
In order to prevent my ATI Radeon graphic card from overheating, I disabled most of the visual appearance options in System properties->Advanced->Performance options.
My PDF-XChange Viewer runs smoothly before doing the abovementioned change. But after the change, if I am keeping several instances of it open and working in other application for some time and then switch back to the PDF viewer, I often get “PDF-Xchange Viewer has stopped working” message and has no other choice than to close it.

Does anyone know the cause and fix to this problem?
Version information:
PDF-Xchange Viewer; 2.0, Build 40.7
Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium; the problem also occurs after I upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit Professional
Memory: DDR2 4G
Laptop: HP tx2500
Graphic card: ATI Radeon 3200
Thanks,
Bob
