HYPERLINKS WON'T WORK

I'm using the latest version of PDF-Xchange Viewer on Windows XP SP3. When I try to use the hyperlinks on a page, sometimes they are active and will open the web page linked to but most of the time they just don't work. I made sure that the Preferences/page display/create links from URLs box is checked. Don't know what else to do. Any suggestions??

hyperlinks are typically a part of the document itself. The Viewer does have the capability to interpret literal URL's on the fly. This is what the setting "Create links from URLs" does. This is dependent on the text being a full and accurate URL to resource that exists.

Could it be that the URLs in the document are not complete?

This is a known bug: when the option "Preferences/Commenting/Enable exclusive mode for non-commenting tools" is checked and when the "Hand" tool is active (which it is by default) then hyperlinks won't work... Please disable it if enabled. It will be fixed in the next build...
