Comment and Markup Tools on a pdf file??

I had to reload PDF X change and I have used it in the past but this time, in the tools/comments and markup tools, the stamp tools and so forth will not work and not highlited. Do I need to buy the version before I can use these features? I have the 2.5 build (free version off of the site) and I have updated thru the pdf viewer. A long time ago I was able to use the draft and so forth stamp. Can any tell me?

I have a catalog I offer on my site I created, turned into a pdf file but what I want to do is watermark each page of the catalog in case some one tries to copy and republish my catalog.

Hi,

The free version will do this - but - it sounds like you added security changes to the document when created prohibiting changes from being made - open the doc and select CTRL+D and see ther security properties set on the file.

John, tks for ur reply. Yes you was right, and when I created the Catalog and saved it yes I did set a password and I had to remember that. So in turn I got it before I came back to the forum. Now 1 more question, Can I create a hyperlink to my store off of the catalog pages?
I looked thru all the tools after I got the password to open but I cannot find anything on creating a hyperlink.

Hello David,

Check the link tools available in the "Links Editor Toolbar" - there are two tools - rectangular and quadrilateral link tools in there.
Each of them could be used to either link inside the document, or create a hyperlink to an external web resource.

Stefen, I do not understand this one. I have found the 2 different tools in the tools/link tools and tried but I cannot get it to make a hyperlink to my web site store. Any more help would be appricated.

why not upload a PDF and the required link (pls zip files to upload) and we will add the link for you with some screenshots on the process - there is a KB article here - but I suspect it may not help that much as there are no screenshots ...
