The alternate viewer is a beloved feature to me, but suddenly there is no more Foxit reader link in the launch bar and I get “No alternate PDF viewer available”.
Is there any registry key where I could possibly insert the path to Foxit?
As for the loupe tool, when you change page is there any fast way to come back to the link selection rectangle and to reposition/resize it? If not, think of adding a shortcut to accomplish this. Besides what about allowing the hand tool to work inside the loupe dialog as well? So you don’t have to go back to linked area to pan the loupe.
Thanks in advance
Antonio

Re: Alternate viewer and loupe tool
Hello Antonie,
The latest decision is that we will only be providing a link to Adobe's reader I am afraid:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 71&p=30044
As for the Loupe tool - I did create a feature request for the devs to consider:
#845: FR: V3+ Improvements to the loupe tool
but this if approved will be a long term one, as we are currently trying to finalize PDF-X Viewer 2011's initial release, and there are tons of things to do, so all new feature requests if approved are stalled I am afraid.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Alternate viewer and loupe tool
Thanks for your fast reply.
To me the alternate viewer was a kinda alternative to the loupe. Think of math: you have to focus at the same time on formulas in a place and comments in another place. So, if in the next big release you work on split views keeping this in mind, you may give a great relief to readers of technical docs... who may be quite a few.
