Feature requests...

I'd like to have some features requests for the XChange Viewer:

Some ideas:
• more shortcuts: I am missing some shortcuts, for example Ctrl+F6 to switch to the next open file
• delete bitmaps: it would be fine to be able to remove single bitmaps, I often want to backup the text content of larger PDF files, the size would shrink dramatically when eliminating some unimportant images
• the delete page(s) dialog could set the cursor into the text field by default (or, as soon a cipher will be entered)
BTW: sometimes, the page count does not update correctly when deleting the (last) page of a document
• Reordering bookmarks can be done easily except one case: when trying to move a bookmark below the last non-top level bookmark will only allow to move it to a new sub level or the top-level itself, but not at the same level like the bookmark above, this should be corrected

And welcome to the forums.
To move to the next opened document you can use Crtl + Tab as in most modern browsers, and you can change the shortcuts in our Viewer.

Image manipulation in existing PDFs is planned for ver3 of our Viewer.

for the last two points in your comments.

We do monitor all forums and sub-forums but this one is a good place to post your Viewer related questions and suggestions - they are seen and noted.

Hm,

thinking about another feature for the PDF-XChange Viewer, which would be fine: a kind of integrated file explorer, which shows all PDF files of a directory. If there would be also an option to display these files in form of an icon, representing the first page of each file, this would look like a book shelf and would be a fine enhancement for a lot of users

PS for me, it would be also fine to have a command line parameter (PDFXChange.exe test.pdf -thumbfile test.jpg -thumbpage 1 -thumbsize 320x320 -thumbquality 9) which makes such a thumbfile silently, but I fear, nobody else would be interested in that

Thanks for the additional thoughts Puffolino,

the 1st 2 items look like they will be added in V3. Not necessarily the initial release but some time. I've made mention of your newer comments on the feature request ticket also.
