Using 2.5.192 on Win7 x64.
I open the Search dialog (Ctrl-Shift-F). I opened as a vertical side pane docked on the right border. However, it was a little bit narrow, so I pull its left border to make it bigger. Or I might have clicked on its top border and drag it elsewhere.
I don't remember what I did exactly to that Search form. However, it ends up taking the entire window permanently, hiding all the other content Windows. No amount of sizing, moving can displace it. The only choice is to close it. And when I open that form again, it still takes the entire window.
Q1. How to resize the Search form to make it smaller and put it on the right side as before?
Q2. Is it possible to make its docking behaviour like Visual Studio 2010?
Thanks.
EDIT: full of typos

Re: Search form takes whole screen
Hi ZeroPaper,
Unsure how to get it to do that but eventually I did as well, the only way I could figure out how to get it back to re-sizable, was to do the following.
First make the whole PDF-XChange Viewer window re sizable and re-size it to give you enough room to grab the Search PDF title bar (cursor turns into 4 arrow directional cursor) and drag it onto your desktop outside of the Viewer window. It turns to original size outside the window.
Now make it thinner even more.
Then drag it back onto the Viewer and dock it in the window, there is now room on the left to drag the left border of the search pane back to a manageable size.
Obviously I will bring this to the attention of the development team to resolve in a more convenient manner, but here's a way to get it back to a usable format in the meantime.

That was a lightning fast answer. Works perfectly thank you very much.
And yes, it would be a good idea to let the Dev team aware of this issue. The effect was quite disconcerting.

Hi ZeroPaper,
Thanks for the kind words, it took some lightning speed trial and error to come up with the instructions for sure, maybe even a bit of dumb luck!
Glad to help and yes I will get the dev team to address it.
Best,
Chris
