Chrome Dev 11.0.672.2 in browser pdf problems

Chrome Dev 11.0.672.2 in browser pdf problems
Had problems trying to view pdfs in Google Chrome Dev 11.0.672.2 using PDF XChange Viewer 2.5 build 193. Even after disabling Chrome's built in PDF viewer via about:plugins PDF Xchange would still not open the pdfs in Chrome. I had to resort to the procedure outlined here http://www.chromeboard.com/showthread.php?t=4321 where one has to copy npPDFXCviewNPPlugin.dll from Firefox to the newly created Chrome plugin folder. The thing is that I will have to do this every time Chrome is automatically updated. Does PDF Xchange not automatically install the plugin for Chrome?

Hello frustrated,
Before Chrome was checking for the default PDF Viewing application in the registry, and searching for the plug in in the default directory where you installed the Viewer. I will speak with our dev guys to check whether this has changed recently, and if yes - we will make the necessary changes.
