Enhancement features request 2011 version

HI all,

As a new PDF-Viewer user, I have a few suggestions to make for inclusion in the 2011 version. Some practical, some not.
I recently moved our users from Ecopy to PDF-Viewer and have noticed a few items that were included in the tools we were using that made marking up documents a little easier.

1. Drag and Drop page insertion. While I know you can drag and drop from multiple documents when they are in "Multiple Documents tabbed display", drag and drop from desktop folder to Single open document/thumbnail area is ideal. We do not use the tabbed display because of comparison work which is 95% of our daily tasks. We must be able to see side-by-side PDF's so tabbed display is not practical. Or even drag and drop between two single windows to only the thumbnail area of the other window.

2. Add Whiteout and Blackout tools. We created our own with the Text Box tool, but it would be nice if these were standard. And were able to be flattened as a group and not have all comments flattened.

3. Add checkbox to Save/Save As Menu for Flatten Comments. This is idea for redacting/ Whiteout or Blackout tools. So you could have a dropdown list that said Flatten Blackout/Whiteout, Flatten All and a checkbox to activate during saving.

4. Adjust the usage of the page rotation buttons. If pages are selected in the Thumbnail view, rotate only those pages without any dialog boxes. If the thumbnail view is not open or no pages are selected - rotate all. Or add selective rotate to the thumbnails toolbar where the zoom and export are, directly above the thumbnails.

5. Ability to add any custom tool in any Style Palette to a custom toolbar. We highlight scanned/non searchable PDF's alot. Having a custom pallet with the four colors we created for highlighting would be awesome. So it would be a custom toolbar for custom palette items, thats a better description...LOL

6. Adjust the Text Highlighter to become a standard highlighter if it is not an OCR/searchable document or no text is within the selected area. Huge time-saver!

thanks for the feedback and suggestions. As you pointed out Viewer 2011 is coming and for commercial reasons we are not ready to release details of exactly what will be included in that. Your suggestions have been noted and at present I would simply say lets see what V3 brings and when it is released lets revisit your suggestions if still relevent.
