I am able to open the pdf and view it in the viewer, however when I try to print without a UI, the viewer tries to open but crashes.
I get the message "PDF-XChange Viewer has encountered a problenm and needs to close.
I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 9.0 to create the pdf.

Re: Viewer crashes when trying to print without UI
Hi bunkerj,
In the Viewer Go to Help->About PDF-XChange Viewer and let me know what build you are using, and are you right-clicking the unopened file and selecting print from a folder?
I successfully right-clicked the document and selected print for this document from my desktop using the latest build 193.
Best,
Chris

Re: Viewer crashes when trying to print without UI
I have the latest viewer Version 2.5 (Build 193.0)
I have tried printing silently from within my application, and when I just try to right click and print the file that is sitting on my desktop.

Re: Viewer crashes when trying to print without UI
I notice the difference is that when I have it open in viewer - and go to Document properties, PDF Viewer: <Unknown>
the one that works has PDF-XChange Viewer v2.5.193.0 (Feb 15 2011 21:23:24), 3/10/2011, 4:47:55 PM

Re: Viewer crashes when trying to print without UI
Hi bunkerj,
So how do you mean trying to print from within your application, are you using the Viewer ActiveX SDK or which application are you referring to? I'm trying to get a better understanding of your situation.
Thanks,
Chris
