Show current and total number of pages in status bar ?

I would like to ALWAYS AUTOMATICALLY view the
- current page number
and
- total number of pages in the current pdf doc.

I prefer to have this infomation the the status bar at the bottom (Where normally "Ready" is written).

Alternatively it could be shown where the dimensions ("21,00 x 28,00 cm") are written
or as a/two field(s) in the toolbar.

How can I enable the display of this info in detail? I found no option.

Hello Matt,

While not exactly where you want to have this information - we do have the toolbar that can always display it.
Please make sure that you have enabled the Pages Navigation Toolbar - and in it you will always see the current page and the total number of pages:

I want to get rid of as many toolbars (lines) as possible (at best only one).

Can I customize another (non-Pages navigation toolbar) so that it contains the pages indicator?

What should I drag from the customization panel into the one-and-only toolbar?

If this is not possible then this element should be added in the next release

Hi Matt,

You need to add the "page: 999" tool from the View menu - as in this screenshot:


And after that you can just close the pages navigation toolbar.
