Immediate Zoom-in+out DIRECTLY when clicking on toolbar icon

Post by mattad »

Sometimes I need to "zoom in" resp "zoom out" a loaded pdf document.

When I click currently on the "loupe +" or "loupe -" icon in the toolbar then XChange Viewer is only put into zoom mode but the doc is not zoomed immediately.

That means I have to click in zoom mode again one more time into the current document/page to get it zoomed.

This is one unnecessary click too much und user unfriendly.

Why not introduce an "immediate zoom" behaviour?
So when the user clicks on the "loupe +" resp "loupe -" icon in the toolbar then this zoom order should immediately applied to the current view.

Maybe this is already possible?

If yes: How can I enable this option?

If not: I know all your developers are currently busy with the new v3 release
But you should put this feature on the "to implement" short list for the time after the v3 release.

Thank you
Matt

Why don't you just use the zoom icon or slider on the Zoom toolbar?

Thanks for the help Bhikkhu,

Yes Matt, on the same toolbar where the zoom in/out tool is - there is a slider and a + and - buttons in green circles.
You can also use the Ctrl key + your mouse wheel to zoom in/out or Ctrl + NumPad + and NumPad - for the same effect.

Best,
Stefan
