Not able to print htm files properly

Hi,

I am not able to print htm files. When I do CTRL+P on a html page, I get a dialog to enter the filename and by default it takes some name with htm extension. When I go ahead with saving the file, it shows the pdf with all the html tags and the data is not what i see on the html page. Can you please let me know what i need to do. I am able to print a word document or a txt file to a pdf, but htm files is giving a problem.

Hey Ananth,

I would like to see the dialog box that is asking for the file name. It will give me a better idea of what's going on. I have added a link showing you how to take a screenshot for me. Take it for me, post it, and we will see about getting you sorted.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for you response. I have sent a mail to the support email as the link to upload screenshot didnt work. I forgot to mention, my laptop is on Windows Vista and I have PDF-Tools version 3.60 Build 0131. I am attaching the screenshot and the pdf file generated for the htm file in this post.

Our first step is to update your version of the viewer. You are a few versions behind. You can download it again and install it from our downloads page or you can send me your serial to support@pdf-xchange.com and I will send you detailed instructions.

Hi Jamie,

The software is licensed to SAP. So I can use that version of software only. License type is 'World Wide License'. The problem which i am facing has been there for the past 1 week, prior to that I was able to print the htm files properly.

We have found in the past a simple re-install or upgrade to the latest build resolves most challenges. Just download the viewer from the downloads page and install it right over the one you have and it will remember the key. Try that and let me know if you still have a challenge.
