If each color dot represents one product, why do some products have different color dots in their column.
For example:
Black and red dots in the PDF Tools column
Blue, yellow, purple, and orange dots under the PDF-Xchange Standard column
Even more colors under PDF-Xchange Pro column.

Hi auser,
some products come bundled. So PDF-Tools for example includes the license to use PDF-XChange Viewer so if the 'Headline Functionality' is in both Tools and Viewer for example then it has the dots for both. This is most evident in the PDF-XChange 4 Pro because it is a bundle of several things.
