how to delete some parts of the PDF [solved]

Post by yves67 »

Hello,
I would like to delete, some parts of the pdf
for this, I am using the rectangle option, with the border and the color of the rectangle equal to the page
I set the opacity to 100%

but I can still see a little bit the text, the opacity is not 100% ????

do you have a solution for me ?

Thanks for any help

regards

Hello yves67,

It could be that the opacity is indeed not 100% or that you have a blending mode other than normal. Please attach a sample file we could examine, and we will then be able to advise further.

Best,

Hello

I was doing another test to send you a file, but it is working now.....

the blending mode was not set to normal.

sorry for the question

may I ask you another question:

when I open the updated document with adobe reader, if I click on the area I see a rectangle, I cannot remove it or delete it

is it the normal way it shoul work ?

thanks again for your help
best regards

Hello yves67,

Glad to hear that you managed to resolve the blending mode issue.

What's available as free tools in our Viewer, is not necessarily available in Adobe's reader ;)

Actually the free Adobe Reader only allows you to View PDF documents, and fill in forms inside them -nothing more, so yes you are correct that you can select those rectangles but Adobe will not let you move them and yes this is the default behaviour.

Best,
Stefan
