Key and DevCode not working starting from version 2.5.197

Hi,
trying the PDF-XChange Viewer OCX and DLL version both I get the classical watermarking that appears when then key/devcode are not passed to viewer. This happens with viewers SDK version 2.5.197 and 2.5.198; if I use the 2.5.195 version of the files the watermarking does not appear.

Any help?

Yes - we did change some licensing logic as per this article:

So we need to issue you a new Viewer SDK license key.
Please do follow the instructions in the newsletter above, and send us the distribution declaration to sales@pdf-xchange.com and we will see to provide you with your new key by the end of the day.

I received new serial for PDF-XChange Viewer Pro SDK 2.5.196 or later.
After recompiling application I tested it also with 2.5.195 version of the viewer and pleasantly found that the serial is back compatible - it works with versions .195 and .198 both.

Hi Carlo,

Yes, I saw the mail Chris sent you and you are right the new keys are backwards compatible - just the older keys are not compatible with the newer builds
