Rendering bug with Viewer vs. Acrobat...

I just reported a bug dealing with Form Flattening where the Tracker Viewer renders the PDF Right but Acrobat renders it wrong. This is similar but different enough that I figured I should let you know. The same basic issue is occurring with the Typewriter and Text box Tools.

To reproduce:

Load a PDF. (I created one via "File > New > From Blank Page").
Annotation with the Typewriter tool. Place some text in there like "be happy".
Do the same with the Text box tool. Place some text in like "I don't want to be happy".
Save the file.
Close the file.
Load the file. Looks good.
Load it in Acrobat ... No text in any of your annotations.
Reader also fails to render properly (no surprise there).

If I'm right, I would suspect that this bug would need to be fixed ASAP as all PDFs you create can no longer be sent to Adobe using people.

As I see this bug being able to hurt your company in a big way, scream if you need anything more from me. A video showing the problem, my version of Acrobat (9 Pro, 9.4.6), whatever.

thanks for reporting this. Indeed we are aware of the issue, it was a bug introduced in build 198 and is in the end user Viewer also. We have implemented the fix already and it will be in build 199 planned for this week end.
