Problem with new rendering....

Hello developers. My friend recommended me to use this software to annotate on lecture pdfs last summer (around May), and I truely loved it. However, I recently had a OS reinstall and when I tried to use the newer version of Xchange PDF, it doesn't run like a dream anymore....

The main problem I found is that there might have been some changes to the rendering system. I use a tablet, so I use the pen to write directly on the pdfs. I find great difficulty writing a number of words in block letters like n as in "linkage" or h as in "this". I checked that the tablet is working perfect by writing the same words on Windows Journal. When I write these words on Xchange view, however, the aforementioned words simply didn't get rendered (linkage -> li kage). Its worse if you write in a hurry because all the words on the same pen stroke is gone after writing the word n (linkage -> li )


I checked the offical site for a previous version, but it seems they have removed them all and just uploaded the latest version. It would be best if someone can tell me how I can fix this. Btw, is it possible that I can obtain a copy of 2.5.195, which is the last version known to work perfectly for me? It would be great help since I really rely on XChange viewer to take notes of whatever the prof writes in lectures....

what would be the chances of you making a video of the issue? The devs are asking for this so they can see exactly what you mean, what zoom level you are using etc...

I will see what I can do. I think I have bandicam somewhere so I can use that too. I will also try to revert to build 195/194 to see if the problem goes away. If not, there could be something with MY computer instead. If so, I do apologize :$

Mid terms are coming, so I might not respond soon. Sorry for the inconveniences....and Thank you very much for the speed reply.


Update: Dear developers, please hold your horses. I tested writing things with the build 195 and the same problem shows. I am now checking my driver for the tablet. Sorry to bother you guys. I will post more updates when there is more time after mid term. Meanwhile, you guys can ignore this thead, and do something else.....have lunch, probably
