Please supply links to downloads or actual files that dont open - without one or other we have absolutley no idea what the problem may be - though possibly the problem is related to your system or Internet connection if you have a problem with both ours and Adobe's products - however to comment further is pointless without examples - also please ensure any files you try and upload are within a zip archive or similar or they will not be uploaded.

First off, I am a neophyte. My daughter is applying to Medical Schools (secondary applications) . SHE installed Adobe X and was suddeny unable to download any pdf files from any of the schools requesting secondary apps. I deleted Adobe X and installed your product - we are still unable to download ANY pdf files from her schools.

Windows closes them all saying they are malicious.

What exactly does the dialogue say?
Can you open a PDF file that is saved on your local drive by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer?

Nothing you have told us gives us much of a clue. Its clearly not a problem with PDF-XChange — maybe something with changing the filetypes downloaded with your browser? If you're using Firefox, it would be best to ask on the Firefox forums about this problem, or if you're using another browser, then ask on their forums.

As Bhikkhu has pointed out - we can`t tell much from the information in front of us. Would it be possible to send a screen shot of the message you get?

i'm using firefox now and have no problems. As i said before - the message it was giving me the download was malicious. that was it.

the reason we asked for a screen shot is because it will give us clues as to what is going on. It seems to me that this is happening with PDF-XChange installed. It may be that the issue is with your web browser or your security settings or from Antivirus software. We really cannot tell from the information we have at hand.

If you cannot supply the requested screen shot perhaps you could supply us with a way of checking the documents ourselves. Is it possible to send a link to these pages that we may try downloading the files ourselves to test?

We really do want to get this sorted but without additional information there is little we can do.
