Errors in 2.5.199

Hello,

We've been implementing your new Attachment pane and have run across the following issues/unusual behaviours:

1) If all the attachments are deleted (or just one is deleted and a new one is not selected), the open and save buttons are still active even though clicking them does nothing.

2) If you try to attach a Word or Excel file that is currently open, nothing happens. If you try to add a PDF that is open, it does add. If you could either allow for attaching of open files, or some message box that can inform the user that the attach operation didn't succeed.

We'll pass along anything else our QA team finds.

thanks for the report. I can confirm I see the same behaviour. I've passed this on to the dev team and should hear their thoughts on this soon. It may be that this is handled differently in V3 already.

Another error that we've run across in 2.5.199.

If you load settings from a file while a document that has attachments is open in the control, it removes the "attachment icon" from the Document Options Bar. The only way to get this icon back is to open the document again.
