Testing invisible signatures? Openlimit Signcube?

Post by logies »

Hello, I like PDF-XChange-Viewer, because I can sign documents with a smartcard and Openlimit Signcube. The latter is a german or european market leader for signing solutions. I can click on my signature in the document and PDF-XChange-Viewer will show me the certificate (if available in my Windows XP store of certificates, I assume). But what about invisible signatures? They are shown in the list of signatures, but when double-clicking on them or using the context menu, nothing happens. I can test them in Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.4, though. The latter hat a tight integration with Openlimit Signcube (Plug-ins from Openlimit) for testing signatures, which is comfortable (but Adobe Acrobat Reader can only test signatures not sign itself). Will you improve things? Perhaps even a integration of Openlimit-Signcube for testing and signing signatures? Thanks! Michael

Hello logies,

A much improved signature verification/testing interface is coming in ver3 of our Viewer:

But for now I am afraid that there is no way to test such hidden signatures in our Viewer.

Best,
Stefan
