I have a PDF document that when openening I get the error message in the attached image. To open the same PDF in Adobe I had to disable a setting titled "Enable Protected Mode at Startup". Is there a similar seeting in PDFXchange that must also be changed to open this doc?
Thanks

Re: Problem Opening Protected Document
Hi Ksudavid,
Without having the actual PDF to examine and based on your error it looks like the file has been secured with an Adobe Security handler. Unfortunately Adobe does not share the details of how these security handlers work and they are not currently supported in PDF-XChange Viewer. We are working on support for this but given that it is a closed technology I cannot guarantee what will result.
For the time being at least I'm afraid that you will need to use Adobe Reader to open this document.
Regards,
Jamie
