Tab order of form fields

Hi,

I noticed that the tab order of form fields is not as it was specified when it was created (Adobe Acrobat 9). The tab order is user defined, and works as expected when I use Adobe Reader to fill the form. With XChange Viewer (and also with Foxit Reader), the tab order is completely different. When I export the form data to xml-file, the order of the created tags is exactly the tab order in XChange Viewer.
I attached an example pdf, where the numbers in the form fields show the intended tab order.
Do you have any idea what is going on here? Did we do anything wrong when we created the pdf? But then, why is it working in Acrobat Reader?

Hi Christian,

I have received word from my development team that this will be addressed in V3. It is not clear at this juncture if this means the initial release of V3 or a subsequent one - we'll know more as we get closer to the V3 launch.

Hi,

It will not be 6 months for sure - we are currently not specifying an exact date as having overshot several dates for a multitude of reasons - not least grossly underestimating the task we had started (we are actually rewriting virtually every line of code in our underlying libraries, Print drivers and developer SDK's) - we do not want to publish yet another date we will miss.

But I can state categorically that it will be in the 2nd quarter of this year and possibly sooner.
