Wrong red Print-preview

PDF-XChange Viewer 2.5 200 Free / Win XP Home

There seem to be a problem with "print preview". I used PDFs created with "PDF-XChange Lite 4.0" and with "FOP 0.20.5" and have the same results:

- The print-preview becomes entire a red colour and many infos of the PDF are not shown.

- When I set the option "print as Image" the preview is OK.

Here it is - MS Word 2002 on Win XP Home.

Bit I think I is not a problem of the PDF-creation: I tested some files with diferent source and fiferent creators:

Problems with:AFPL Ghostscript 8.14; Acrobat Distiller 4.05 for Windows; Compart MFFPDF I/O Filter; Acrobat Distiller 10.0.0 (Windows)

No problems with: Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 (Windows); Acrobat Distiller 4.05 for Windows

Can you provide me your PDF file? I'm afraid I cannot reproduce the issue just having .doc file.

I cannot reproduce the issue here now. On your side does the problem occur with any printer selected or on only with "HP Color LasetJet C1215" ?
Can you export your settings to file, and send it to me by email Ivan@tracker-software.com ?

If you print when the Preview is wrong, does it print wrong also or does it print correctly?

I have these printers on my PC:
- Fax
- HP Color Laserjet CP1215
- MS Office Document Image printer
- PDF Creator
- PDF-XChange 4.0 Lite

With all printers there is the problem with disappearing image and lines.
With HP only I can see the read area on entire paperspace or only on the margin. All other printers show no red area.

The settings will be sent in next minutes.

Yes, printing is OK despite the strange preview.

Thanks Peter,

there is nothing more we can do with this in the 2.5 version. We will address this after V3 is released if it can be reproduced in that version when it is released.
