Realy strange Refresh problem

Hi Tracker-Team,

I have found a realy strange Refresh Bug with viewer in DialogForms only. :shock:

Please see the attached ZIP File for more details. Included a m0vie and a simple sample application.

Important:

1. This Bug occurs only on Windows Vista or Windows 7 x64 + minimum SP1. But not on 32 Bit versions of any Windows versions.

2. This bug occurs only on PC's with Intel i7 CPU's. Yes, it's very strange, but true. This bug info I was getting from 2 different customers and I can confirm it with 3 different PC's (all with Windows 7, 64Bit, SP1 => Motherboard #1 from ASUS, Motherboard #2 from Gigabyte, Motherboard #3 - don't know, it's a notebook).

3. This Bug occurs in combination with some different other controls OR (or not and!) if the property Form.ClipControls is set to "False"

Tell me, if you need more infos from me.

Question: Is there any refresh method or something else I can call to suppress this refresh problem?

Hi Dorwol.

I have tested this issue but couldn't reproduce any problem under my Windows7.x64.SP1 (Intel i5). I will continue testing on other machines...
Please tell me which com-server PDFXCview.exe is started, win32 or x64 (in TaskManager for example) ?

Today I've also start the "BugTester.exe" with a brand new Lenovo Ultrabook U300s. Exactly the same refresh problem!
In the U300s works a Intel Core i5-2467M CPU (1.60 GHz). Pre-Installed on the Lenovo is Windows 7, 64 Bit, SP1.
If it will help you, I can made and send you a new m0vie, created on this Lenovo Ultrabook.

Which version of ActiveX SDK you have used? The latest is 2.5.200...

I still cannot reproduce this problem. :(
May be this bug is depended with version of video-driver. Please update video-driver to latest...

Believe me, already done. But without any success.

BTW: the gfx-cards are on all desktop-pcs (by me and also by our customers who was tell me this problem) nVidia and on the Lenovo "U300s" a "Intel HD Graphics Family" OnBoard-Chip (also absolutly newest driver). So you see, hardware is complete different.

Do you have tested it with nvidia-card or Intel other ones (like AMD or so...)?

We have just reproduced similar (but not the same) repaint-problem with your example (thanks) and will continue investigating...

Yes, I can confirm, this DLL will fix it. The repaint problem is gone!
