Can't save PDF in Firefox plugin
When I click on a PDF link in Firefox it opens a separate Firefox window and displays the PDF using the PDF-Xchange plugin. But there is no menu bar. There is a toolbar but it does not have a Save icon on it. Is there a way to save the displayed PDF from this Firefox window? I am using Firefox 10.0 and PDF-Xchange Viewer 2.5.

Re: Can't save PDF in Firefox plugin
Hi bunin,
you should be able to do exactly what you want, you cannot just save because these are typically in a temp folder that you may not have write access to, but you can use 'Save As' from the menu bar.
Since your menu bar is not active please click in your document to ensure our plugin has focus then hit the hit the F9 key to toggle the menu bar on.

Re: Can't save PDF in Firefox plugin
I just recently upgraded to Firefox 11 and discovered that I have this same problem. When a pdf file displays within the PDF-Xchange plugin, no toolbars are displayed. The link provided is no help because those function keys don't work in the plugin. The way I was able to get a toolbar to display was to hit Ctrl-F, and then the Find toolbar appeared. I was then able to use the context menu to select other toolbars, but they wouldn't "stick" - When opening the next pdf in Firefox, there were again no toolbars.

Hi Oxa,
Could you please check the build of our Viewer you currently have on your machine, and the date that's reported in the Help -> About window?
I just tested with FF 11 (and when I went to check the version I did actually also download FF 12!) - and I had no problems to use the F8, F9 keys inside our Viewer control. The trick is that you need to first "click" inside our Viewer's control as if you are about to use the hand tool to scroll the PDF document - and the F keys should then be properly intercepted and acted upon in our plug-in.
Best,
Stefan
